Mercantile Partners with Riot BBQ for Collaborative Dinner

Culinary leaders from Mercantile and Riot BBQ, Mercantile’s Executive Chef Alex Grenier and Riot BBQ’s Chef Manny Barella and Pitmaster Patrick Klaiber to celebrate seasonality, heritage, and smoke with a six-course dinner at Mercantile. The two kitchens will blend the French and Spanish influences of Grenier’s farm-driven cooking with Riot BBQ’s distinct approach: Central Texas BBQ influenced by the open-fire cooking traditions of Barella’s native Monterrey, Mexico The result is a dinner that unites Colorado bounty with the transformative nature of smoke and fire. The cost is $135 per person with optional beverage pairings available.

Ritmo & Raíces: A Latin American Heritage Celebration

Denver Union Station and the Mexican Cultural Center Denver are excited to help kick off Hispanic Heritage Month with Ritmo & Raíces, a free, family-friendly celebration of the rich and diverse cultures of Latin America through live music, traditional and contemporary dance, food, history, and community. Free and open to all, this inaugural event will feature a variety of cultural performances outside on Wynkoop Plaza and the Terminal Bar patio, including Sangre de Mexico, Mariachi Internacional Denver, Qhaswa Perú, and Estudio Colombia.
Attendees can also enjoy free face painting, bilingual historic tours of Denver Union Station, community partner craft stations and Latin American-inspired food and beverage specials available for purchase throughout the Station. Those 21 and over are invited to visit the Terminal Bar Patio for a donation-based tequila tasting.

Experience the chic excitement of race day at Denver Union Station, which in partnership with Moët & Chandon is hosting The Fast Lane: Race Day at Cooper Lounge. International car-racing fans can celebrate the energy of the Formula 1 Tag Heuer Gran Premio de España in Madrid right here in town. Sip sparkling Moët & Chandon and other specialty cocktails and enjoy live DJ entertainment, all in the polished atmosphere of the Cooper Lounge. Open to 21+ only.
Colorado Wine Walk at Dairy Block

Experience the best of Colorado wine at the 2026 Fall Colorado Wine Walk! Blanchard Family Wines celebrates Colorado’s robust wine culture, transforming the Alley at Dairy Block into a dynamic tasting ground for the state’s finest wines, ciders, and sakes. Listen to vibrant music, enjoy delicious local bites by Cirque Kitchen, and have a chance to connect directly with the passionate makers behind each pour. Full-sized bottles and cans will be available to purchase and take home.
The Colorado Wine Walk is more than just a tasting. It’s an electric fusion of flavor, creativity, and local pride, and this year also celebrates Colorado’s 150th birthday by promoting one of its great agricultural products.
General admission is $60 with unlimited samples. A VIP ticket, for $100, includes entry one hour earlier than general, a lounge, and a food voucher for Cirque Kitchen.

Reserve your perfect prix fixe meal ($50) at Coohills before your event at Ball Arena. Parking is available in the attached garage for a flat rate of $15 after 5 pm, and the arena is just a short walk away.
For Garth Brooks this weekend, Coohills will open at 4:30 (for dinner after the 2:00 PM show or before the 7:00 PM one. Upcoming acts in September at Ball include Tame Impala on the 11th, Weezer on the 16th, and Billy Strings the 18th and 19th.
Remember that Coohills can host special occasions and holiday gatherings, custom interactive experiences such as truffle rolling or mixology as well as meals for 10 to 300.
