Colorado Day at Union Station

Bring the whole family and experience a lively day filled with Colorado pride, local history, music, food, and unforgettable community in a celebration of Colorado’s sesquicentennial. Enjoy live performances from Rootbeer Richie & The Reveille and the Cleo Parker Robinson Youth Ensemble, Central City Opera, historic LoDo walking tours presented by Historic Denver, hands-on activities from the National Western Center and the Colorado Rapids, cultural experiences, and family-friendly fun throughout Denver Union Station and the plaza.
Through Taste of Colorado, for $17, you can savor the flavors of our Centennial State with Colorado-inspired cuisine from Denver Union Station’s celebrated dining destinations. Guests can also explore the Colorado Cocktail Trail with a special alcohol add-on showcasing locally inspired cocktails and spirits.
Colorado Day at Commons Park

Colorado turns 150 only once!
Colorado is 150 because its makers, its musicians, and its neighbors kept showing up and chose to stay. On August 1 at Commons Park, 149 confirmed Colorado makers, three sponsor booths, and a stage of homegrown acts mark the birthday. Free, all day.
The main stage is homegrown. Every act on this bill calls Colorado home. A headliner that built Chicano funk in Denver, a brass line that owns these streets, the neon funk rockers everyone will claim they saw first, and the kids coming for all of it.

Colorado Day at McGregor Square

Colorado is turning 150, and McGregor Square celebrating in a big way.
Join McGregor Square for a full day of live music, local entertainment, interactive activities, and exclusive Colorado 150 merchandise. Whether you’re stopping by for an afternoon with the family or spending the entire day downtown, there’s something for everyone.
And Coors Banquet will be on site as well, and they know a thing or two about turning 150… brewing in Colorado since before it was a state! Have a cold beer at the custom hat press station from 4:00 PM–6:00 PM.
Dog Days of Summer in Larimer Square

Calling all dog lovers! Dog Days of Summer returns for 2026. Whether you’re a proud pet parent or just love being around happy dogs, this is the perfect way to spend a summer day full of smiles, splashes, and pups to pet.
There will be live music, photoshoots, treats, merch, and a doggy water park from Sploot with puppy pools, hydration stations, and pup cups and bone broth beverages. Larimer Square establishments will pop up along the block.
National Night Out in Skyline Park

The LoDo District Inc. joins other neighborhood associations at National Night Out.
The event enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while fostering a sense of community. It brings together police and neighbors under positive circumstances.

Two More Evenings of Beats on the Creek

Coohills Restaurant supports local non-profits with its Beats on the Creek Summer Concert Series. This year it is raising funds for First Descents, which provides life-changing outdoor adventures for young adults impacted by cancer and other serious health conditions.
Admission to the bridge is $10 and there are no advanced ticket sales. Wristbands are available for purchase in the restaurant day of starting at 5:00 PM and at 6:00 PM on the bridge.

Cherry Creek Clean-ups Continue

The next Cherry Creek Cleanup will be Friday, August 7. Join us in making our community cleaner, greener, and more beautiful. Meet at the Downtown Children’s Playground to register at 8:45 AM then pitch in to pitch it out from 9–10 AM. Subsequent dates are Sept. 4, Oct. 2, and Nov. 6.
