At Jax, every month is seafood month—but October gives an extra reason to go all in. To celebrate, the Head Chef + Culinary Director, Sheila Lucero, has created a special menu inspired by the flavors and traditions of Japan.

Think crispy Tempura Shrimp with apple ponzu, indulgent Lobster Katsu Sando, smoky-sweet Salmon Kushiyaki, and perfectly seared Aburi Scallop. Each dish is paired with cocktails, sake, and Japanese beers to take you on a flavor journey across the Pacific.

Beer Block in Larimer Square

Beer Block returns to Larimer Square for another unforgettable afternoon of brews, bites, and bands. This beer-drenched block party will feature craft cans from a variety of local and national breweries, and live music, all in celebration of Denver’s hosting of the Great American Beer Festival.

Campos EPC Block Party on 1400 Block of Wazee

The Campos Block Party returns to celebrate two decades of innovation, impact, and community. This special event is open to the public and brings Campos employees, their families, local partners, Campos Foundation scholars, and the broader Denver community together for an unforgettable afternoon of fun, connection, and gratitude. Campos also is proud to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Campos Foundation, which has invested over $7 million to encourage underserved kids to pursue careers in STEM. This event is free as a way for Campos to thank and uplift the community that’s supported it over the past 20 years. Let’s come together to honor the past, build the future, and have a whole lot of fun doing it.

Biennial of the Americas 2025 Festival in Writer Square

Daily through Sat., Oct. 26, 12:00 PM till late: Activations throughout Writer Square

The Biennial of the Americas will launch its 2025 Festival with the temporary activation of seven spaces in Writer Square. It opens on Wednesday, Oct. 15, with a reception attended by participating artists and collaborators. On Saturday, Oct. 18, the Biennial will host a free public Party on the Plaza sponsored by Southwest Airlines, featuring live music, art, and refreshments. The activation is open daily from 12:00 p.m. until late through Oct. 26, 2025.

The Biennial invites the Colorado community and visitors from across the region to experience the 2025 Festival as a celebration of culture, connection, and creativity in the heart of downtown. From exhibitions and performances to interactive spaces and global perspectives, this year’s program promises to showcase the depth and diversity of the Americas while uplifting Colorado’s vibrant artistic community.

Maven Hotel Honored as a Top Colorado Hotel
