Greenway Foundation Thanks Its Volunteers

So far in 2025, the Greenway Foundation and its volunteers have removed over 17,273 gallons of trash, debris, and weeds from the South Platte River and surrounding parks, including staff-led cleanups ahead of school field trips. It’s not done yet. Whether you picked up a bag, donated, or cheered us on, you’re part of this success. Greenway thanks you for being part of it.
Run Safety at Market Station

Grab your running buddy and participate in a 5k group run or walk for movement, safety, and community. Running coach Char Griess, in partnership with Running Mate, will lead. Afterward, regroup at Market Station for an empowering safety demonstration from Safely Self Defense, including hands-on pepper spray training. Then shop from Market Station tenants and female-focused vendors.
Your $30 ticket includes the guided group run, a custom tote filled with Market Station goodies, a beverage from Milk Tea People, and the safety demonstration. Ten dollars from each ticket goes to RAINN to support survivors of sexual abuse.

Biennial of the Americas 2025 Festival in Writer Square

The Biennial of the Americas will launch its 2025 Festival with the temporary activation of seven spaces in Writer Square. It opens on Wednesday, Oct. 15, with a reception attended by participating artists and collaborators. On Saturday, Oct. 18, the Biennial will host a free public Party on the Plaza sponsored by Southwest Airlines, featuring live music, art, and refreshments. The activation is open daily from 12:00 p.m. until late through Oct. 26, 2025.
The Biennial invites the Colorado community and visitors from across the region to experience the 2025 Festival as a celebration of culture, connection, and creativity in the heart of downtown. From exhibitions and performances to interactive spaces and global perspectives, this year’s program promises to showcase the depth and diversity of the Americas while uplifting Colorado’s vibrant artistic community.

2025 Can-I-Val Season Tip-Off Party for the Nuggets

Denver Union Station will celebrate the Denver Nuggets’ new NBA season with a special Can-I-Val Season Tip-Off Party, presented by Ball. The community party will feature free entertainment by SuperMascot Rocky, the Average Joes, and the Skyline Drumline. Fans can get hyped for the home opener with the Phoenix Suns with a variety of games and activations—with plenty of prizes. Before heading to the game, grab a bite or beverage in Union Station, or make it a staycation with an overnight at the Crawford Hotel, which offers the Gameday Getaway Special of 20% off a stay with a valid NBA, NFL, NHL, or MLB game ticket. That evening, for the start of basketball season, Union Station’s exterior will be lit with the Nuggets’ colors, midnight blue and sunshine yellow.

Disco Mystique returns to Dairy Block for a Halloween dance party bigger, spookier, and funkier than ever. Held in the Dairy Block Alley, Poka Lola Social Club, and the Maven’s Windsor Room, Disco Mystique is a one-of-a-kind celebration that blurs the lines between freaky and funky. Enjoy live drag and dance performances, a costume contest, and more.
Buddy Bravo’s Halloween Cabaret begins at 8 PM with sets by DJ Buddy Bravo and 37 Frets, performances by artists Zarah Misdemeanor & Freya Misdemeanor, dancer Asya, and Vio the Violinist, and ends with a big surprise at 10 p.m. Dress to impress for the Costume Contest, with fantastic prizes for first, second, and third places. Then dance the night away to deejays’ haunting tunes, under glittering disco balls on an LED floor, with other surprises and performers, till 1:00 AM. Disco Mystique is open only to those 21+.
