Denver Food + Wine Festival Dine Out Auction

The Denver Food + Wine Festival is thrilled to bring back its Dine Out culinary auction series to its 2025 schedule of festival events, featuring an exciting lineup of one-of-a-kind experiences that will go to the highest bidder, all to help raise funds to support the workforce development and employee assistance programming of the Colorado Restaurant Foundation. These unique experiences range from chef-counter dinners and behind-the-scenes kitchen tours to games of ping pong and wine seminars at some of the best restaurants in Colorado. Most experiences will take place on Friday, September 5, 2025, but others can be scheduled for future dates.

Enjoy the best brunch bites and sips at the eighth annual Denver BrunchFest, Denver’s biggest bottomless brunch, the legendary, ultimate experience for Denver foodies who know how to brunch so hard.

In a month-long promotion, Jax is dishing up Crispy Skin Alamosa Striped Bass with Olathe creamed corn and heirloom tomato pico. Says culinary director Sheila Lucero, “We have been using this hybrid striped bass farmed here in Colorado for many years. It comes from an on-land fish farm in the high San Luis Valley. The Olathe corn and heirloom tomatoes come from Tuxedo Farms on the western slope. Working with local farmers, ranchers, and fishers is one of the best parts of what we do. These relationships go way beyond ingredients—they’re about supporting each other, sharing stories, and staying connected,” says Sheila Lucero, Centro & Jax Culinary Director, Big Red F. “Colorado has so much to offer year-round, and it’s exciting to keep celebrating that—not just in August, but twelve months a year.”

Spirit of Japan 2025

Spirit of Japan is an immersive outdoor experience at Sakura Square that celebrates Japanese food, spirits, and cultural heritage. Produced by Sakura Foundation and JTM, this vibrant event brings together culinary tastings and cultural experiences that highlight both traditional and contemporary Japanese food and drink. Designed to foster cultural exchange, promote international travel to Japan, and strengthen community bonds, Spirit of Japan supports Sakura Foundation’s mission by contributing event proceeds to fund the Mirai Generations Leadership Program, cultural school for youth, scholarships, community grants, and a variety of cultural programming throughout the year.

Spirit of Japan has a variety of fun volunteer opportunities available; if you complete the form, an organizer will email you.

The event entrance will be located at 19th and Larimer Street. Food vendors will be on the east and west sides of Larimer Street between 19th and 20th Streets and spirit vendors will line the north side of 19th Street. The dining areas will be in the open  lot onsite and the plaza facing 19th Street. 

Premiere access begins an hour earlier than the stated time on Saturday and Sunday.

Colorado Wine Walk with Blanchard Family Wines

Colorado’s premier celebration of local wine, hosted by Blanchard Family Wines, returns to the heart of Denver. Transforming the vibrant Dairy Block Alley into an immersive tasting experience, the 2025 Colorado Wine Walk will feature unlimited samples from the state’s finest wineries and cideries, served in a commemorative glass. Attendees will also enjoy live music, local food vendors, and the opportunity to meet the winemakers behind each pour. Full-sized bottles and cans will be available for purchase.

The Colorado Wine Walk is more than a tasting event—it’s a high-energy showcase of Colorado’s craft wine community. Blanchard Family Wines is proud to bring together passionate producers and curious wine lovers in such an iconic setting.
