Eve of Opening Day: A Happy Hour with the LoDo District

Historic Denver is excited to kick off the 2026 season of its Cocktails in Cool Places at the historic Acme Lofts. Step inside one of the building’s most impressive loft residences, originally constructed in 1909 by Gustav Van Brecht for the Brecht Candy Company.

The building has evolved over the decades and its story of reinvention continues today. The host for the evening, fashion designer Brooks Luby, uses the space as her atelier. Known for blending modern silhouettes with vintage textiles, Brooks’s work beautifully reflects the creative reuse of this historic industrial landmark.

Guests may choose from two entry times (4:30 PM or 6:30 PM) and enjoy cocktails and light appetizers while exploring this remarkable space.


Spring Art Walk at Denver Milk Market

Celebrate springtime blooms and Mile High City sunshine at the Denver Milk Market Spring Art Walk, free and open to all. Explore new works by more than a dozen talented local artisans, from unique art pieces to one-of-a-kind crafts that capture the spirit of Denver’s thriving arts community.  

Some participating artists are Anchor Creation, Buena Vista Goods, Gilded Art, IdaBEADazzled Designs, Kramer’s Knacks, Lilac Vintage Co., Llamamama Knits, Petra’s Pottery, Scrub Me Skin Care, Summit To Sea Candle Co., Verbena Collective, Violaine Jewelry, and Water Mountain Art.

Attendees can enjoy drinks and dinner from Denver Milk Market’s wide variety of delicious food options, including Fuso, Moo Bar, Konjo Ethiopian Food, Lucky Bird Fried Chicken, East3 and YumCha. 


Executive Chef at Urban Farmer Showcases Tasting Menu

Urban Farmer Denver announces that Jessica Biederman is now serving as Executive Chef at the modern farm-to-table steakhouse. A seasoned culinary leader with a passion for excellence, Biederman has held prestigious roles in renowned kitchens such as Edge Restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Denver and the Bristol Restaurant & Bar at Four Seasons Hotel Boston. Most recently, Chef Biederman led the successful opening of Water Grill Denver in LoDo, delivering a dynamic, seafood-driven menu that celebrated sustainable sourcing and coastal flavors.

Urban Farmer Denver is excited to showcase Chef Biederman’s unique voice and innovative vision with the first Tasting Menu Dinner of the year on Thursday, March 26 for $227 per person, which includes all taxes, fees and gratuity. Non-alcoholic pairings will also be available.

Denver Summit FC Inaugural Match Watch Party

Be a part of Mile High sports history at the Denver Summit FC Inaugural Match Watch Party at McGregor Square. Colorado’s new professional women’s soccer team will take the pitch at Empower Field at Mile High at noon on March 28th for its inaugural home match against the Washington Spirit. Gather, cheer, and be a part of the moment by enjoying the match on McGregor Square’s 66-foot LED Jumbotron.

Fans are invited to arrive at McGregor Square early to fuel up with delicious food and drink, then settle in for the first chapter of Denver Summit FC history. 

Be there for the debut. Be there for the energy. Be there for the start of something new in Denver soccer. The watch party is free but will reach capacity, so reserve a spot now.


Little Blue Pigeon: A New Bookstore in Larimer Square

A new bookshop is coming Larimer Square! Little Blue Pigeon comes to Lower Downtown and joins the LoDo District Inc. Watch this space for its events, such as a soft opening Wednesday April 1 and a big celebration on April 25 for a Grand Opening — a full day of books, community, and a little extra magic. There will be aura photography and caricature-style photos, small bites, and plenty of fun surprises as Little Blue Pigeon celebrates with the community that made this possible.
