General admission begins at 7:00 PM with access to the evening’s program, including remarks from Elizabeth Schlosser about her new book, Denver: The City and Its Art. National Western Stock Show Parade

On Thursday, January 8, Pete Coors will lead the iconic parade, kicking off the start to the 120th National Western Stock Show. The parade will start at 12 noon outside Union Station and will march twelve blocks along 17th Street to Glenarm Place. Coors will guide the procession, which includes a spectacular array of more than 30 longhorn cattle, and horses and western wagons, through the streets of downtown Denver.
Stock Show Fair at McGregor Square

Everyone is invited to the Stock Show Fair at McGregor Square following the parade along 17th street. McGregor Square goes western with McNicholas Miniatures therapy horses, music, western royalty, a food market, ice skating, and more. If you wear a cowboy hat you will get half off skating and a $10 Coors Light or Coors Banquet Beer & Shot at the Milepost Zero bar.
