The 2025 Downtown Denver Travel Survey is your opportunity to contribute to a better understanding of commuter patterns and transportation needs across the community. Your feedback helps paint a clearer picture of how mobility downtown is working (or not) for everyone.
Participate to inform future transportation planning, to highlight real commuter experiences and needs, and to support efforts to improve sustainability and mobility downtown. Denver Firefighters Chili Cookoff

McGregor Square is thrilled to host the Denver Firefighters Local 858 36th Annual Denver Firefighters Chili Cookoff. All are welcome to attend.
Come and vote for your favorite chili while helping to raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. A Battle of the Bands follows.
The Colorado Firefighter Calendar will be on sale with firefighters ready to sign your copy.
Fall 2025 South Platte Stewardship Day

Pacifico Preserves Fall South Platte Stewardship Day, presented by DaVita and the Riverfront Park Community Foundation, needs your help restoring a local riverside park. Volunteer groups will assist with various projects to help the local environment, including a trash pick-up. Ages 12+; families can sign up for the Fall Family Stewardship Day and teens can sign up for the Greenway Leadership Corps event. Meet at Globeville Landing Park. Parking instructions will be shared with all registered volunteers.
This event is free. Registration is required because Greenway needs a headcount for project supplies.
Cherry Creek Cleanups: Every First Friday

16th Street Grand Opening Celebration

The Downtown Denver Partnership, the City and County of Denver, RTD, and PCL Construction are thrilled officially to reopen 16th Street on October 4, 2025, exactly 43 years after its inaugural opening in 1982. They invite all Denverites and Coloradans to join in and celebrate completion of the project, which has enhanced accessibility and infrastructure, expanded amenities and “moments of joy,” and preserved downtown Denver’s iconic main street.
On your new 16th Street, better than ever and ready to create new memories for future generations, you can witness the ribbon-cutting and remarks, participate in a scavenger hunt by REI, watch the Guerrilla Fanfare Brass Band Parade, and enjoy beloved Denver bands and DJs onstage. The 16th Street Birthday Party at the Daniels & Fisher Clocktower features free cake and a commemorative 16th Street poster signing by Denver-based artist Brayan “Yamz World” Montes with giveaways and surprises!
McGregor Square Hosts Denver’s First Daywalker Fest

McGregor Square will host Denver’s first Daywalker Fest, lighting up your weekend with music, drinks, dancing and chill daytime vibes. Deejays will perform, and great food & drink specials will be on offer both on the Plaza and inside the Milepost Zero food hall. Listen Local, a Colorado-based non-profit, is organizing this free, all-ages, community event.
Life of a Food Hall Party for Taylor Swift Album Release

The Campos Block Party returns to celebrate two decades of innovation, impact, and community. This special event is open to the public and brings Campos employees, their families, local partners, Campos Foundation scholars, and the broader Denver community together for an unforgettable afternoon of fun, connection, and gratitude. Campos also is proud to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Campos Foundation, which has invested over $7 million to encourage underserved kids to pursue careers in STEM. This event is free as a way for Campos to thank and uplift the community that’s supported it over the past 20 years. Let’s come together to honor the past, build the future, and have a whole lot of fun doing it.
