Greenway Foundation will wade into the South Platte just upstream of its confluence with Cherry Creek to pull out trash that’s been stuck in the riverbed for way too long. Bring your water shoes and get ready to make a real impact right in the river. If you’re not into getting wet, no problem: join a team picking up trash along the riverbanks, in the park, and on the trail.
This is a fun opportunity for young professionals (however you interpret that!) looking to give back, meet some like-minded people, and spend some time outside. Not only will you be contributing to a cleaner, healthier river, but you’ll also have the chance to meet other young professionals who share your passion for the environment.
