SUMMARY:1340 Penn After Hours: Lego City
DESCRIPTION:Remember the field trip that let you skip the boring parts of the school day and just play? This is that\, grown-up style! \nCome to Margaret “Molly” Brown’s historic Capitol Hill home\, the very house that sparked the founding of Historic Denver\, for an evening of building cities with Lego\, and picking up the real ins and outs of historic preservation as you go: what it takes to save a structure\, how cities change over decades\, and how you get a say in what happens to the places you love. \nHere’s the twist: once you’ve built your masterpiece\, it’s not up to you whether it survives. The next generation of builders decides what gets to stay and what gets torn down\, just like it happens in real cities every day. It’s a hands-on\, occasionally cutthroat\, always fun way to see historic preservation in a whole new light. \nSo grab a cocktail or mocktail\, roll up your sleeves\, and come build (and maybe lose) a city of your own! $33.06
