The Economic and Community Development Committee seeks to create a set of strategic steps that the Lower Downtown District can take, to enhance and expand the economic vitality and street energy of the Lower Downtown District.

Young Professionals
The LoDo Young Professionals Committee exists to provide LoDo District Members in the age of demographic of 22-35 with opportunities for civic engagement, mentoring, social interaction, and networking. The committee also seeks to give back to the LoDo community by engaging in neighborhood service projects, and generally supporting the efforts of the LoDo District organization.

Urban Design
The Urban Design Committee exists to provide a forum for people in the various design, development, historic preservation, construction, and real estate fields to communicate with one another, and to be the voice of the LoDo mixed-use neighborhood to the community and surrounding neighborhoods on these issues.

Events
The Events & Membership committee exists to establish fundraising events and create revenue for the annual operating budget for the existence of the LoDo District.

Transportation & Government Relations
The Transportation & Government Relations Committee exists to advocate responsible pedestrian, parking, traffic, and transit solutions to help maintain the health and vibrancy of the LoDo neighborhood. The committee also assists the organization with its interactions with community groups, government and regulatory agencies.

Marketing & Communications
The Marketing and Communications committee exists to generate topical discussions regarding the activities of the organization and issues important to the neighborhood, stakeholders and surrounding communities. Communications vehicles include the internet, a regulary published LoDo District newsletter and general media.

Membership
The Membership committee exists to generate/retain membership revenues to help fund an annual operating budget for the existence of the LoDo District. By recruiting new members and retaining members we provide outlets for members to connect in the neighborhood and market themselves.

LoDo Cares
The LoDo Cares Program is the community service arm of the LoDo District, Inc. and works to support charitable efforts that enhance the experience of those who live, work and play in LoDo and the surrounding areas.
